Mr. Shiyas Pallipattuputhenpura Ummer Attends Indo Defence 2025 Alongside Indian DPSUs and QTI Leadership

Jakarta, Indonesia – November 2025

Mr. Shiyas Pallipattuputhenpura Ummer, CEO for Asia at Quang Ninh General Trading & Investment Company (QTI), proudly participated in Indo Defence 2025, one of Asia’s most prominent defence exhibitions held at Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo).

Joining Mr. Shiyas was Mr. Keyur Sinha, Vice Director of QTI, along with high-level representatives from several Indian Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs). Their joint presence marked a significant step in strengthening defence cooperation between India and Southeast Asian nations, particularly Indonesia, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

QTI, as an official channel partner for several DPSUs and organisations like DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation), played a vital role in facilitating bilateral discussions, promoting Indian defence manufacturing capabilities, and exploring technology transfers, joint ventures, and procurement opportunities with Indonesian counterparts.

During the event, Mr. Shiyas and his delegation engaged in productive dialogues with government officials, military leaders, and international stakeholders, underlining the importance of regional security cooperation, indigenous defence production, and India's growing contribution to the Asian defence landscape.

QTI reaffirmed its commitment to acting as a bridge between Indian defence manufacturers and strategic partners across Southeast Asia, while also promoting Make in India defence technologies abroad.

Indo Defence 2025 provided a dynamic platform for showcasing innovations, forming new alliances, and reinforcing QTI's ongoing mission to represent India's defence excellence across Asia.
