Meet with Tourism Minister Pak Sandiaga again

I recently had the privilege of meeting with Mr. Sandiaga Uno, Indonesia's Minister of Tourism, and I'm thrilled to share the exciting discussions we had about the future of tourism in Indonesia.

Minister Uno welcomed me warmly and expressed his enthusiasm for exploring new opportunities for tourism growth. We delved into the details of expansion and investment plans, and I was impressed by the minister's vision for developing sustainable tourism practices that showcase Indonesia's rich cultural heritage and natural beauty.

Our conversation touched on the importance of innovation and adaptability in the face of global changes affecting the tourism industry. Minister Uno emphasized the need for Indonesia's tourism sector to focus on strengthening sustainable tourism practices that cater to the evolving needs of tourists.

I was also heartened to learn about the Indonesian government's initiatives to support tourism development, including the establishment of the Indonesia Tourism Fund (ITF) ¹. This fund aims to provide financial support for tourism promotional events and nation branding, with an initial allocation of Rp 2 trillion.

As I concluded my meeting with Minister Uno, I felt optimistic about the future of tourism in Indonesia. With the government's commitment to sustainable tourism practices and investment in infrastructure development, I am confident that Indonesia will continue to thrive as a premier tourist destination.

Overall, my meeting with Minister Uno was an enlightening experience, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact of our discussions on the tourism industry in Indonesia.
